From England, this is Parlophone Records PMC 1079, The Ronnie Ross Quintet Double Event a black & gold label,original mono issue of this rare record. The record is in VG+(+) condition (a strong VG+) showing light marks, mostly on side 1, that lower the visual grade. The record plays quietly except for some light background crackle audible for brief moments particularly on side one. There is no distortion of the music and it is an excellent listening experience. The glossy, cover shows a 1" split on the top seam, and light bumps on the open corners but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent and show no spindle marks. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this hard to find original.
