Rosalyn Tureck performs J.S. Bach Partitas Nos. 3 & 6. Released in 1959 on E.M.I. Records, Mono Recording, Catalogue Number ALP 1692, Matrix Numbers 2XEA 1603-4N & 2XEA 1604-1N.

The biographical notes of this album, which on the reverse sleeve go into great depth, and begin as such..
The six Partitas form Book 1 of the Clavierubung. They were issued by Bach with the following title,: "Study For The Keyboard consisting of Preludes, Allemandes, Courantes, Sarabandes, Gigues, Minuets and other galanteries composed for the mental recretio of art lovers by J.S. Bach, Capell-meister of the nobel house of Sachsen -Weissenfels and director of Chroal Music in Leipzig".

This album is in Very Good condition. Released in 1959, the sleeve is in Very Good condition, very clear and concise detailing of text on the reverse, and a sharp purple tinged photograph of Rosalyn Tureck on the front cover. The vinyl is in Very Good condition, no damage, scuffs or scratches, clear and a well printed label. This item reviewed is in Very Good condition, highly collectable and hard to find.
