Description

ARTIST: Roscoe Gordon
LABEL: Sun 257 (1956)
TITLE: Shoobie Oobie b/w Cheese and Crackers
CONDITION:
Labels: Mint-
Record: Side A looks & plays Mint- / Side B plays almost Mint- w/ a few light background ticks and a little light random background surface noise. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Killer 2-sided Sun Blues classic. The A Side is a great midtempo track w/ a bootin' sax section and a killer guitar break. The B Side cool mid to uptempo track w/ a bootin' sax solo.
I believe my friend purchased these Sun label 45’s in the 70’s. I will give all the stamper numbers to help you identify each 45 I have listed. I am not an expert on Sun pressings so again I will attempt to provide as much info as possible. Stamper 45 U 224 b/w 45 U 225. The label has a ¼” depression around the hole on Side A and a lighter one on the other.
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
