Description
Hi there. Up for sale is this EX copy of Rose Tattoo's classic 1982 LP 'Scarred For Life' on the original Alberts Productions red label (APLP 056). Being a first pressing, it has the withdrawn whisky bottle cover, which are getting much harder to find in such excellent condition like this example here. Gradings are as follows: Cover: EX+ The cover has no splits, tears or handwriting present and the spine is in overall solid condition, with a small section having only minimal spine squashing. The opening edge and corners are quite sharp and the coloration is vivid. Consistent with the thin cardboard stock these covers were made from, there are a couple of faint creases near the opening edge and some faint record outline present, something which is unavoidable. I've owned half a dozen of these over the years and this is the closest to perfect that I've had. Vinyl: NM There is loads of shine and the record plays crisp and clear with minimal surface noise between tracks. There are no scratches or skips whatsoever. An absolute delight to play - you'll struggle to find better. Labels: NM Very clean vivid coloration with no tears or handwriting present. Close to perfect, I would say. Inner sleeve: NM. The sleeve is wrinkle and tear free, but may be a replacement. Absolutely brilliant. Please note that this record will be shipped in purpose built record mailing cartons with the disc shipped external to the cover for your piece of mind. This record was play tested on a Rega RP1 Deck with 1.6 g of tracking force and has been described to be as accurate as possible. Contact me with any questions you have. Thanks for looking.
