Description
Brunswick Master #LAE 520 Rose Tribe MY HAWAIIAN MAID Condition E+ This is a metal master (positive), which, if I have this correct, was used to make a 'mother' or stamper (negative), which in turn pressed the shellac 78s that were sold in the stores. So this is two generations ahead of a E+ 78! It is playable on a normal record player and sounds great! It has some dish, which does not affect play, I suppose it flattened out when it was hot enough to press the mothers. It looks like nickel plating on some sort of copper base. Both front and back are pictured. Fine music, too.
