Description

Excellent copy of a now hard to source album from English folk singer/songwriter Rosie Hardman: Cottage ASC7754 (1975).

Bought at one of Rosie's concerts and signed by her there.

This album very seldom comes to auction, especially in such good condition; it has been played a couple of times only and is unmarked. The cover is also in very clean condition.

On 24-Apr-08 at 10:26:20 BST, seller added the following information:

Tracklisting (all written by Rosie):  The Man from the Travelling Show, Saie Harbour, Michael, The Bride of St Lawrence, Airport, Bringing Me Down, Epitaph for Jeffrey, Sunset on the Island.

Featured musicians: "Gasoline" - Steve Jack (lead guitar, backing vocals), Paul Gooderham (rhythm guitar, glockenspiel, backing vocals), John Wood (drums), Barry Anderson (bass); plus Woodall Stanley (piano), Rob Ixer (Rosie's husband) (guiro), Harry Norkle (tambourine, backing vocals), Isaac Guillory (electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, backing vocals)

Produced by Chris Rohmann at Alida Star Studios, Syston, in July 1975.

Additional info:  Rosie tells me that the album is rare mainly because she withdrew it due to problems with the cover etc. The title was intended to be "Jerseyberger" but the cover and pressing were finalised before she could approve them.  The album is also notable for being the only recorded material featuring Isaac Guillory playing with Rosie.
