The LP's are in excellent condition. I have played this through twice on two systems:
Gyrodek, Helius Omega, Ortofon MC 10 Supreme, Michell Delphini Phono stage, Icon audio pre, Exposure power, Kef reference with Nordost and Cairn cables.
AR Legend,Jelco s, blue point No 2 Audiolab system.
There is very little wear to the albums, they appear to be virtually unplayed. There are no spindle marks and only a few very light surface marks mainly on side 4. There are some light background crackles in places, very much what you would expect from almost any used classical LP. LP 2 has a slight edge warp. the vinyl lifts about 1mm when you play side 3 but does not effect the sound quality or performance in any way on my turntables. I played this lp quite loudly and there was no distortion or significant wear, just some light crackled as described. There is a slight blemish in the pressing (white speck) at the join of band 1 and 2 that again does not effect the performance. The inner booklet is excellent. The box is also very good except for a small scrape on the rear over the left hand white text. Generally this LP is very very good but not quite perfect as described above. If I received an album like this described as near mint I would not be unhappy. This is a valuable album so I am trying to give a fair reflection of its condition. Please check my feedback as a seller.
This is a fantastic sought after recording. The last copy sold on e-bay last Sunday for £461 and was an ex library copy. Here is your chance to bid again if you missed that one. I am starting the auction at £199 with no reserve, which I feel is quite reasonable considering the final sale price of the last one. I will also be donating 10 % of the final sale price to Mary Hare school for deaf children.
