Dutch pressing - 2 LP Set & Leaflet Insert
This set has been long highly regarded for the performances and it is certainly a wonderful sounding LP Set.
This is ex-stock of Bradford Gramophone Record Library, so I have taken 5 pictures to indicate how the library markings have affected the presentation of this set.
The vinyl of both records have a good sheen and appear to have been played very little (no spindle marks) and are in very good/excellent condition; there are some (probably mainly paper) marks that can be seen in a certain light. The records play generally well (no repeated ticks or jumps), the sound is terrific, with generally very little surface noise but with a few random pops & clicks that are probably due to dust, finger marks, etc. - the records would certainly benefit from a professional clean. The record label of side 1 has been damaged following the removal of a sticker and side 3 has a sticker covering the PHILIPS logo - a faint library stamp can just be made out on each of the labels.
The outer record box is in excellent condition; good clear spine, very clean front with no tears, splits or lifting of the laminate - no library markings on the outside, just the faint outline, barely visible where a small sticker (4cm x 1cm) has been removed at the center/top of the box. Inside the lid of the box has been stuck a library control sheet which has been partially removed. The leaflet has a number of library stamps on the front only.
The pictures give a very good impression of the condition of the box, the leaflet and the record labels.
Very Scarce Set.
The record set will be well packaged in a custom-made record packaging with suitable stiffeners/protection.
I will refund the cost of any record that obviously falls below the standard of my description, if returned to me intact within 7 days of receipt.
