This item was withdrawn a few weeks ago when I noticed a defect.

ROTTING CHRIST / MONUMENTUM
Split 12" picture vinyl

Originally released as a 7" black vinyl by Obscure Plasma Records back in 1991.
This 12" picture EP was released sometime in the 1990's by Soundcave (label cat# SC001)

MISPRESSING / PRODUCTION DEFECT

This vinyl has not been properly finished when it was being made. The flaw is hard to spot because of the colours in the picture but there is a rough patch which runs 7cm in a perfect straight line across the outer rim of the record. At its deepest point it comes 5mm into the track. While the rest of the record is smooth with normal finishing gloss, this little bit is rougher and has no gloss.

I think this is a mispressed vinyl because there is no way you could damage a record like this - in such an exact way. See photo below. It goes without saying that you wouldn't want to put a needle on that bit of the vinyl. It feels like paper.

Apart from that the record has no other defect and has been played once.
