Description
DESCRIPTION: Roxy Music - For Your Pleasure LP. 1st UK pressing in fully laminated gate-fold sleeve with lowest A1/B1 matrix and pink rim labels. Postage cost includes tracking and a box/cruciform mailer. LABEL/CATALOGUE NUMBER. Island ILPS 9232. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1973. COUNTRY OF MANUFACTURE: UK. CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/VG+: Vinyl is really clean with a nice dark sheen. Played passages of this this morning on my budget deck. A very light edge-warp is visible on side 1 playback but not on side 2. Has no effect on the sound at all. Plays EX. Music is really clear, clean and loud. One of the best sounding copies I have had. Cover is in clean condition, close to EX. It is firm and square with light edge wear (1 scuff to spine and opening edge), light corner wear and minimal creasing. Strip of laminate bubble/lift to bottom 1cm of inside of gatefold. Really clean labels- check out the photo. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER ROXY/BOWIE/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD. ALL ITEMS (OR COMBINATIONOF ITEMS) SELLING FOR OVER £20 MUST BE SENT SIGNED FOR OR AIRSURE TO COMPLY WITH PAYPAL POLICIES- ASK ME FOR FURTHER DETAILS.
