Roxy Music, 'For Your Pleasure'.Original UK Island Pink Rim label stereo press LP.
The 2nd album from Roxy Music, the greatest art school rock band of the early seventies. At the time Ferry was dating French model Amanda Lear and she was photographed with a black jaguar for the front cover of the album, while Brian Ferry appears on the back cover as a dapper chauffeur standing in front of a limousine. With the earliest A-1 B-1 matrices & 1-PT 1-OL stampers of the the first press! The fully laminated sleeve is intact & in EX condition, with some light laminate storage wear and very light corner wear on the cover. The spine is intact and fully readable, the company inner is intact, but creased & in VG+ condition. The record is in visually EX condition, with a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines and one or two light needle scuffs visible under bright light on each side. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a couple of light spindle markings on each side. The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, but there is some light background noise during the run in grooves. Overall still a really great, loud & punchy listen! The matrix nos. are; ILPS-9332, A-1 stamper 1-PT, B-1 stamper 1-OL. This is one of the early copies of the 1st pressing of the original 1973 UK stereo issue of this album!

All grades are those used in the Record Collector Guide. All lp's are sent in cardboard record mailers with plastic covers and cardboard stiffeners to protect the LP's!! UK Signed For Postage is £4.50 for the first LP & is the same for up to four single LP's or two double LP's or more up to 2 KG!,
Will post to Europe (including all EU countries & Russia, Finland, Sweden, etc.) and Rest of the World (USA, Japan, Australia, Korea etc.), but airmail is limited to 5 or 6 lp's due to weight restrictions.
