Description

An original 1st press of SIREN on UK Island from '75. Matrix 4/4. The vinyl comes housed in an original Robor cover. There's also a black inner sleeve too. Now, it should have a black inner - I'm just not 100% convinced this is the original one!
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out one mark in track 2. Thankfully it doesn't seem to cause too much issue - see detail. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with slight deviation in one spot. Intros and inbetweens are beautifully quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. Wow - what a copy. Those strings! Highly addictive. There's not too much to find fault with - it's got great fidelity. The only issue i could detect was that mark mentioned above. It causes a few ticks and the odd crackle in the closing seconds of 'End of The Line' as it fades out. The same issue causes the same issue in the opening minute of the extended intro to 'Fool'. By the time the bass notes come in at the end of the instrumental intro - it has gone perfectly clean. Obviously would be preferable without said mark - but it'd really not affecting much in-track audio. Other than that one mark - the rest of the Lp is just knockin the ball outta the court. Love it.
Cover (Ex) Wow a really super looking cover... Jerry looking very well preserved! Lovely clean and flat surfaces without the dreaded surface wear. There is a tendency on this cover to age - but this example seems to have avoided most of it. Minimal edge wear and firm sharp openings. The spine is 98% intact - very nice. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) No splits. Just remember - it might not be the genuine inner.
