Description

Roy Ayres - Virgin Ubiquity II (3x12 inch vinyl) LP.

Unreleased recordings 1976 - 1981

2005 release on BBE

*EXTREMELY RARE*

Condition is Used.

Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.

This is the second part of Virgin Ubiquity: Unreleased Recordings 1976-1981and is again packed with tracks that are far more than unreleased findings from the cutting room floor. Each one serves as another feather in the bow of the virtuoso Ayers, who combined jazz, funk, soul and disco in magical and unique ways throughout his career. In doing so he laid down a precursor to acid jazz and hip hop. These are tracks that show off his dynamic, liquid rhythm sections and mellifluous keys, as well as the vocal talents of a range of collaborators who touch on soaring and sensuous highs as well as more gravel and earthy lows. Essential.

The condition of vinyl is EXCELLENT. Hardly and signs of use with light surface hairline scratches.

The condition of the original album sleeve is VERY GOOD PLUS. Does have edge fraying and creases from shelf storage. Also minor ring wear and a small mark from where there was a price sticker

(See pics for closer look)

Note: includes inner sleeve sheet.
