Description

Roy Harper - Flat Baroque & Berserk - Harvest SHVL766 1970  1st Pressing

Matrix Side one SHVL 766 A-2  run off 1and what looks like a small case 'n' but in same size as the '1'      Side two  SHVL 766 B-2 run off  1  G

My favourite Roy Harper album bought shortly after I saw him at the 1969 Bath Jazz & Blues Festival and was blown away. His first real foray into electric guitar on Hell's Angel and his emotional I Hate Thee White Man both on this album.

Vinyl: Side 1 Still has a good gloss with one light surface scuff mark and small scratch which just produces one pop on the narrative section after the first track. A little quiet background crackle at the start dies down shortly into track one.  Side 2 Still has a fair gloss but more surface scuff marks not affecting play. However Hells Angel has a scratch which produces two skips but no popping or crackle.

Labels: Harvest with no EMI logo. Some spindle marking to centres and two short names printed small and neat both sides otherwise excellent.

Dustcover: Excellent. Plain white with light creasing to top corners.

Cover: Gatefold high gloss laminate front and back. Some minor creasing to front. Back excellent. No wear to botton seam and spine. Light wear to top seam and corners.

Tracks: Side 1 Don't you grieve, I hate the white man, Feeling all the Saturday, How does it feel, Goodbye. Side 2 Another day, Davey, East of the sun, Tom Tiddler's ground, Francesca, Song of the ages, Hell's angels.

I am not a dealer. I am a private seller gradually disposing of my vinyl collection. Please note that, whilst it is rare for items to be lost or damaged in the post I am unable to accept responsibility for any loss or damage by the postal services. Whilst I am happy to provide help, advice and proof of postage, all such claims remain the responsibility of the buyer. All items sold for more than £39 will be subject to an extra charge for 'signed for' posting (This is not usually very expensive) if buyer requires package to be covered for compensation to cover the, unlikely, loss in the post an extra charge will have to be added. If compensation cover is required buyers should contact me so that the full cost can be invoiced.
