Description
Up for sale is a USED copy of Roy Haynes 1962 album "Cracklin'" issued on New Jazz Records, a subsidiary of Prestige Records. Catalogue number NJLP 8286. Contains the original purple label. 203 South Washington Ave. Bergenfield, NJ address label. Van Gelder is stamped into the dead wax. Vinyl is G+/VG-/VG. Here's yet another tough LP to grade because it looks pretty good, but there are "bubbles" and "divits"in the vinyl that are left over during the pressing process. These can not be removed. Other than that, the vinyl is in pretty good shape. There are a few scuffs here and there, but not too bad. The label has several spindle marks on both sides however. Now about the cover. The cover is in fantastic shape. One would be hard pressed to find another Prestige or Blue Note cover in the shape this is in. It looked as if it were in shrink wrap for most of it's life, but there is no shrink wrap. No writing, no splits and a completely readable spine. Really, this is such a fabulous cover ! High gloss to the front, super clean back cover slick and no creases and no wear. If there are any inquiries about the LP, please feel free to ask via e-mail. Item shipped in a cardboard cover with pads for extra protection. Also comes in a brand new outer plastic sleeve and a Discwasher inner sleeve. Comes from a non-smoking and pet-free environment. LP will be separated from the cover to prevent any damage. Shipped media mail through the care of the United States Postal Service. Insurance available upon request. PayPal preferred. International orders at cost. Please e-mail for international postage rates. Payment required within seven days of completion of auction. Thanks for looking !!
