After working with some of the Gospel greats and introducing them for many years on television and in gospel concerts, I still find it stimulating and a real joy and blessing each time I work with this outstanding, youthful group, highly skilled in their chosen field of inspirational work. Among the outstanding compliments given them is the affection they show for one another and the genuine joy they manifest in singing together. I’ve always loved gospel music, but my standard for a group or artist is very high. I expect the singer to live what he sings so that I might feel, as well as hear, the music. When I first heard THE SHORTRIDGE SISTERS sing, I knew without a doubt that here was a group that met my expectations. I have attended several singings and church services in which they performed, and I am amazed at their rapport with people of all ages . They are always mindful of others. May knowing that sisters can sing together, pray together, play together and work together, cause many to realize that having God in your life does make a big difference. Jean, Martha, Mary Ann, and Pauline along with their mother, Margie, and their father, Briscoe, happily release this album with a prayer that you will enjoy it as much as they enjoyed doing it for you and for the glory of God.
