Available here is a vintage 1960s-era rock LP from The Royal Guardsmen:
"Snoopy vs. The Red Baron", released by Laurie Records (LLP 2038, mono) in 1966. This was the band's debut LP, and includes their hits "Snoopy vs. The Red Baron" and "Jolly Green Giant". See photos for full track listing.
For Florida based rock group The Royal Guardsmen, their symbiotic relationship with Snoopy was both a blessing and a curse. Via their 1966 novelty hit “Snoopy Versus The Red Baron,” as well as its musical sequels, Snoopy helped secure The Royal Guardsmen place within the 1960’s musical soundscape, but despite how hard they tried, they would never be able to pull themselves out of the cartoon beagle’s massive shadow. Hear what it's all about on this debut LP!
The vinyl is VG++; one side has a few light scratches, the other side not much at all, extremely glossy. The cover is VG+, no seam splits, a little edge fading on back, LP edge. Generally normal wear for age. Plain paper liner. Both labels are clean and complete.
