Description
The Beatles Rubber Soul.
Loud Cut UK mono first press to the best of my knowledge. These were discontinued shortly after initial production due to playing the *wrong* mix with edgy & aggressive vocals & muddled bass. These records can be identified by the 1 on the matrix number suffix. They are quite scarce & collectable.
Subsequent copies generally showed 4 & later 5 and a softer mix. These are easier to find & therefore generally less coveted.

Firstly, the record:
Visually neither amazing nor dreadful. There are a number of marks on both sides. I have cleaned it up to a nice sheen & the labels are clean and unmarked with very little spindle damage.
I have play tested this record from start to finish (no *visual testing only nonsense*) & it's forgivable but imperfect. Neither side plays in its entirety without skipping but Side B is slightly better than side A.
Secondly, the sleeve:
Pretty good. Still fresh, clean, strong & unmarked. Good sharp spine. Only particular flaw is light edge wear at the front. The pictures tell a thousand words.
Further notes:
G & L flipback sleeve;
KT tax code on side A
This isn't a museum piece but it is a serviceable rarity & that's reflected in the starting price.

I post promptly and securely sometimes using recycled packaging.
Polite disclaimer:
If you don't have the means to pay for a bid within 48 hours of sale then please let me know before bidding.
Also if you intend making an offer but you have further questions about the items for sale, then you should ask them *prior to making that offer. By making an offer you are committed to the sale should the retailer accept it as per eBay terms and conditions. Sorry to have to mention this but I've suffered some frankly rotten buying etiquette recently.
Check out my feedback, bid with confidence, & thanks for looking!
