Description
Up on the block is Ruth Copeland's second album I Am What I Am. Originally released by Invictus in 1971, I Am What I Am has since become a highly-sought-after digger's treasure, largely for the heavy break on the tune "Suburban Family Lament." This album features P-Funk members George Clinton, Eddie Hazel, and Bernie Worrell, and is reminiscent of P-Funk and other early 70s funk ladies like Betty Davis.
Although the record plays perfectly, with no skips or scratches, we're going to give this a VG+ rating-- just to be on the up-and-up-- on account of a couple very, very light scuffs. The vinyl is in excellent shape and plays perfectly. This record is priced to sell. All break beats are intact and sounding great!
The cover is in excellent condition, with fully intact gatefold, and no seam splits or tears.
