Description
Ruth Etting sings her signature song, "Love Me or Leave Me," and "I'm Bringing a Red, Red Rose" on Columbia 1680-D. She is accompanied by Rube Bloom, Eddie Lang, and two violins. Lang solos on "Rose" and is prominent throughout both sides, playing fills and breaks. Recorded in New York on December 17, 1928.
This record is in EE+ condition generally, with a small pressing bubble at the rim that is visible on each side and (1) thumps very lightly for the first few revolutions of "Love" and (2) ticks lightly for the first few revolutions of "Rose." (See the last picture at 11:00.)
