Description
white label promo copy of this highly sought-after classic of electronic music. Charles Baudelaire's 'Flowers of Evil' poems read by Ruth White (in english), with voice processing, Moog synth, concrete tape effects, etc, composed by White. a Limelight label (LS-86066) LP release from 1969.
I'm very wary about grading any LP this old as M- (means the same as Near Mint to me) but it looks and sounds really great! the cover has just the slightest bit of ring wear on front top area (see if you can see it in the pic) but no real flaws worth mentioning. vinyl likewise. it truly breaks my heart to have to sell this gem, but the bills gotta get paid. I haven't done any deals on eBay for a few months, but I'm still a highly reputable seller. just check my feedback.
update:
I was asked to provide a more detailed play-grade, so I gave the record a nice cleaning on my Record Doctor machine and then I listened to it carefully. sadly, there is some minor surface noise. mostly noticeable during the quiet parts, occasionally a light crackle during the louder parts too. overall, still a very nice sounding LP, especially considering its age. I've heard much worse sounding records passed off as M- by other sellers, but at this price level it's important to pay attention to details. I'd still rate the vinyl at EX (between M- and VG+) which is still pretty decent for a record pressed in 1969.
shipping in USA is $4 for Media Mail w/ Delivery Confirmation, but for an expensive item like this, I'd recommend Priority Mail, maybe insurance too. final cost will be based on your location and preferences.
out of USA shipping cost will be around $13 or so for UK/Europe (First Class Intl.), but the final cost will be based on your location and preferences.
if your package is valued at $50 or more I may require it be shipped by International Priority with insurance, which will probably cost around $35 or more for one or two LPs.
thanks for looking. email me with any questions.
