Description

RUTHERFORD CHANG'S
THE WHITE ALBUM
THE BEATLES
FACTORY SEALED!

This is Rutherford Chang's extension of his headline-making 2013 NYC art installation, in which he set up a mock record store which only carried 1st pressings of the Beatle's white album - over 800 of them.
He created this lp by playing back 100 uniquely worn copies at the same time, allowing them to drift out of sync & organically transform from recognizable tunes into static bursts of noise. The cover & labels were created by compositing the images of 100 different copies together.
A large poster is included with the image of each individual copy. This lp received a very short pressing run & was offered for sale only for a short while, before being taken down due to what one can only presume were massive legal threats!

Photos are of the actual record that you will receive!

I always show BOTH sides of the labels & the sleeves that way you see what you are bidding on and do not get any surprises! I hate it when you bid on a record only to find out that when you get it the B-side has someone's name on it! Arggh!

All pictures are of the actual items and NOT stock pictures.

Check out the scans & checkout my feedback!

I will combine wins for lower shipping rates!

Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions!

Any red spot is a reflection from my digital camera/scanner and NOT on the item itself. All items are 100% original (unless stated otherwise) and comes with Beatle.bill's 100% satisfaction guarantee! Check out my feedback!

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - PLEASE NOTE:

Import duties, taxes, and charges are NOT included in the item price or shipping cost.

These charges are the BUYER'S responsibility!

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying!

As per eBay's policy!

I ship all items (LP's, 45's & EP's) separate from LP covers, Picture Sleeves and or Stock Company sleeves. This is done to avoid any damage.

Please check my feedback as I ship ALL my items as I would wish they were shipped to me.

Good luck and good bidding!! Please check out my other auctions!

I can and will combine multiple wins for better shipping rates!
