The debut album ''The Magus'' of the Sydney-based noise combo SADISTIK EXEKUTION dates back to 1991. But ''The Magus'', was already written in 1986 and at that time there was barely another band as fast, chaotic, or extreme. SADISTIK EXEKUTION has suffered the fate of a band way ahead of its time. Though not the most prolific band, with only five proper albums in nearly a quarter of a century, there is hardly another group as rude, sick, or… metal as SADISTIK EXEKUTION! 9 tracks features a good dose of crushing old school Death Metal, performed in a very primitive and raw manner. The production is kinda poor and so is the playing, but the band managed to capture the right feeling, and that’s what you can enjoy a lot more than an overall perfectly produced record which is completely lacking in soul.In a way the material on this album reminds of stuff that several bands from Brazil used to come up with at the time and is probably a lot closer to very early SEPULTURAs ''Morbid Visions" than to all the stuff that came out in the U.S. or Scandinavia back in those days. You might be surprised in a positive way! Here the 2019s re-edition on 180g black vinyl limited to 300 copies comes with gatefold cover!
