Details: - This is part of my Personal Folk Collection which I have spent many years acquiring and all in NM/Mint condition (I've always picked the best copies and looked after them!!) - On offer here is the very rare UK Album by Saga called "Sweet Peg O`Derby" and is on the UK `Westwood` Label With TOP MINT VINYL (Looks Unplayed), this has a been a hunted UK folk rock rarity for a long time, you will not see a better copy of this very rare LP!! - Top Draw UK Folk don't miss it!! - Run out/Matrix side 1 WRS 036 A1/side 2 -WRS 036 B1

I was 16 when I first auditioned to be a guitarist for The Trekkas beat group, as I knew four chords including, rather importantly, a minor chord, I was in. I had my first practice on the Wednesday and on Saturday, we were supporting Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band at the Matlock Pavilion. At the Locarno, a competition was held, it had a circular stage and we were on one side with The Imps on the other. The theory was that one band would smoothly replace the other as the stage revolved. However, as the stage stuttered around, our bass player and half our stuff fell off! Then came Saga, a Derby folk group with Chris Mordey, Roger Warren and John Squires. In 1972, completely out of the blue, we were offered a record deal. I was now playing a pedal harmonium, which came from an old Methodist chapel and weighed half a ton. we ended up recording, called Sweet Peg O'Derby, recently sold on the internet for 160 euros. Alas, I only have the one copy myself! I rarely pick up a guitar these days... but have no regrets. Paul Richardson

I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.


VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
