SAINT STEVEN The Bastich-Over the Hills 1969 Canada Probe Trippy FUZZ PSYCH lp

1969/Canada/Probe Records CPLP 4506….. here’s a very nice original Canadian pressing of this scarce psych lp. The cover is in solid VG+ condition with a delete hole lower left corner, some corner wear and light shelf wear mainly on the back cover and a bit of light spotty seam wear, there is a small amount of yellow writing? on the flying creature on the back cover, otherwise the cover is solid and clean with no splits. The vinyl is in glossy VG+ condition with a handful of light inaudible hairlines/marks. The record has a light edge warp which does not affect play in any way. The record plays with light crackle at cue and between tracks and some occasional light noise, plays with clean fidelity. The deep groove labels are clean. A nice original pressing! Please check my auctions for other rock and psych lp’s. Good luck and thanks for looking!

Saint Steven is actually Steve Cataldo, who had previously been the guitarist and singer/songwriter for the minor late-'60s Boston psychedelic band Front Page Review. This is his 1969 album, also called Saint Steven. There are semi-suite-like productions on the two LP sides, divided into sides called 'Over the Hills' and 'The Bastich,' but side two of Abbey Road this ain't. In its way, it reflects the disoriented confusion of the period. It's considered a highly desirable psychedelic collectible by some --All Music Guide

MINT: as stated with no defects

NEAR MINT: as stated near Mint!, or Mint Minus, same thing, very clean with no defect to sound or visual appearance, one scuff or mark may be permitted but it will be mentioned in the description, a near Mint record looks and plays very clean

EXCELLENT: not much below near Mint, may have a delete hole and/or a minor defect or two not visually detracting from the cover, the vinyl will appear shiny and in clean condition with very minor defects not affecting the sound, still very clean and very collectable!

VG++ still a very nice copy with minimal cover wear and/or delete/splits, still visually appealing, the vinyl will retain it's original gloss and can have some minor scuffs/scratches that don't affect play very much

VG+ a little more cover/ring wear and delete, splits etc., the vinyl will still retain much original gloss with a bit more scuffs and/or scratches I may list a very rare or desirable item with a lower grade, I will try to list all defects, both cover and vinyl no matter the condition.
