Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy (from the Winchester pressing plant per the runout matrices) of the debut LP by Australian punk group the Saints, released in 1977. The record was one of the first punk LPs to be recorded Down Under. It features both sides of the group's first two singles, the title track (first released in a small pressing on a local label in 1976) and "Erotic Neurotic," along with a perverse cover of the pop chestnut, "Kissin' Cousins." (Similar takedowns of "Lipstick on Your Collar" and "River Deep, Mountain High" appeared on a contemporaneous EP.) The jacket has a small cutout notch, and is otherwise close to M- with a small tear on the spine and light ring and corner wear (EX). The disc is clean with some light scuffing, and plays with some light surface noise -- EX(+).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
