This series of auctions represents a clearing out of my personal library of books that I have collected over the 12 years that I have been in Japan in preparation for a move of house.  All auctions will start at 1USD regardless of the value of rarity of the books.  There will be many signed, limited/numbered first editions and antiquarian items.  The topic areas will include photography, traditional and contemporary art, primitive and ancient art, and rare and signed literature.  It is a great opportunity for collectors and dealers alike.

Combine many items for shipping.  Shipping single books is expensive to ship, but a parcel of 20kg (44lbs), can ship to North America, Europe, Australia and most other countries for 105USD!!

Comment: This is an LP (or EP?) of a group that the painter Jean-Michel Basquiat was in for a while.  I read about at one point and believe is relatively hard to find.  Basquiat did the cover artwork for both sides as well as the stickers on either side of the LP itself.  There is no information accept what is scribbled by Basquiat.  It mentions vocals by Rammelzee.  I know that Tricky has spoken very highly of this recording and found it very influential in his own work.  I got this as part of a bulk lot of Basquiat collectibles in Japan.  I don't really know much about it.  It  looks near new/unplayed.  I do not have an LP player, so I have not heard it.  If you have any questions, I will try to answer them.

Combined payments only.  I cannot accept partial payments.  I have included the shipping chart below for your personal budget calculation.  Before sending any payment, please e-mail me for a total.  In the past many books are just on the limit and cannot be safely packed and stay under the wait limit for a given postage bracket.  In this case it is necessary to refund the total payment because to receive small transfers are too expensive in terms of fees.

Payment by Paypal preferred.  Wire transfers to my bank in Japan or the United States are also acceptable.  If you have some other method by which you would like to pay, please clear it with me before bidding.

Shipping Charges

All packages ship from Japan.  Please note that the buyer assumes responsibility for loss or damage to uninsured packages.  One Kilogram (kg) equals 2.2 Pounds (lbs).

3. EMS (3-5 Business Days, Registered & Insured, Trackable)

This method of shipping is recommended for rare and expensive books.  Parcels up to 30kg can be send EMS and prices range between 24USD and 12USD per kilo depending on the total weight of the package.  Please inquire for a specific quotation.  First 180USD of insurance is free, additional insurance is available at a nominal fee.

Dispatching Orders

All orders are dispatched weekly on the MONDAY following the payment.  Orders paid by Saturday evening California (Ebay) time will be packaged on Sunday and included in Monday’s shipment.  Others will ship the following week.
