** Please note - This is the ORIGINAL 1965 UK Columbia ADVANCE PROMOTION COPY PRESSING. Very early pressing. Northern Soul rarity. Ultra-rare Mod girly Northern Soul. Her rarest and best solo 45. Under-rated singer, who once teamed up to record with 60's Mod icons THE ACTION. **
Near Mint condition and rare UK Columbia ADVANCE PROMOTIONAL COPY 45. Shiny vinyl, still with high lustre. Looks visually near mint, with no evidence of much play wear. Original 4-prong centre intact. Very few spindle marks. Original MONO mixes of both sides. No skips, jumps, warps, scuffs or scratches. No writing on labels. Very minor small mark on A-side label where sticker has been removed. I played both sides to check quality. Excellent sound quality. Very little surface noise or distortion. Tested on a Thorens turntable. Original company sleeve in excellent condition - name written on front of sleeve in pencil, which could be removed. It would be very difficult to find a better condition copy of this rare DEMO record.
GRADING:
All records are graded using the UK ‘Record Collector’ format:
MINT (M):
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
