I just recently bought a small grouping of UK 60's beat/pop/garage/psych 7"s from a well-known Sydney collector in the throes of selling off his collection.
Anyway, this is one of them. ::ARTIST: SANDRA BRYANT ::TRACKS: "OUT TO GET YOU" (written by Chris Andrews) / "THERE'S NO LOCK ON MY DOOR" ::FORMAT: …vinyl 7” single… ::LABEL: MAJOR MINOR::CATALOGUE #: MM-553
::PRESSED IN: UK::RELEASE DATE: Dec. 1967 (even though it says 1968 on label)
::ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING?: ...Yes, it is...
::CONDITION (cover/record): ( - / EX- ) ...very shiny vinyl...looks beautiful...has just a few very light scuffs only...never released in pic sleeve...comes in its original company sleeve...
::LABEL CONDITION: 'A' side: MINT 'B' side: MINT
...The 'A' side really is quite simply one of thee greatest UK girl singer 45s NOT performed by Dusty or Sandie...sounds like it should have been a James Bond theme song (along the lines of "Thunderball") - it's super uptempo, with stunning vocals, and a gorgeous and super-catchy melody line...and the lyrics are awesome - you really want her to be singing this about you...
