Real Name: Sandy Pesavento Profile: Born: 10 July 1959 in Long Beach, CA USA. Sandy West was an American musician, singer, songwriter, and drummer. She was one of the founding members of The Runaways, the first teenage all-girl hard rock band to record and achieve widespread commercial success in the 1970s. She died from cancer on 21 October 2006 in San Dimas, CA, USA.

***Super Rare*** SANDY WEST "F-13" b/w "Wild Thing" ORIGINAL solo 7" 45 by the former drummer of The Runaways!! A one-off 45 that Sandy West self-released on her own record label back in 1984 as she was embarking on a solo career. This copy was obtained directly from Sandy West when it was released in 1984 (over thirty years ago) and is AUTOGRAPHED by Sandy on the back of the sleeve! According to Sandy at the time, there were ONLY 300 PRESSED. This is one of The Runaways "missing link" releases. As many have heard about it, but very few have even seen a copy. Sandy West passed away from cancer in 2006 and has gained posthumous recognition as one of the pioneering female drummers in the modern rock era.



Both record & jacket are in Mint- condition (Never Played!), NO cuts or holes in the artwork!

Note: This is a very rare independent 7" single done by Sandy in 1984, it comes with a nice hard black & white sleeve and is in NEVER PLAYED condition!
