Description
SANDY'S SIDEMEN, Playing Compositions by Al Fairweather - the remarkable UK TEMPO LP of the late 50s issued a sadly small series of 12" LPs featuring Tubby Hayes etc and many of these command high prices - this issue, TAP 3, one of the early LPs in the series is definitely rare and features a great line-up, Johnny Davies, Alan Thomas, Brian Parker, Mo Umansky, and Graham Burbage, along with guest musicians, Dick Heckstall-Smith amongst others. The cover and vinyl are in lovely shape - the cover is graded EX - clean, no writing, slight ring wear evidient particularly on the rear cover, a few small edge creases, and one corner crease top right. The opening edge is slightly feathered. The heavyweight vinyl is clean with evidence of only light play - one light scuff mark across track 2 side 1, and the same on track 3 side 2 - overall VG+
