Description

Here we have a 1977 Japanese rare Quadraphonic edition of Santana - Lotus -a live album recorded in Osaka, Japan 1973. This album has just been reissued by Mobile Fidelity.
There are three records housed in a beautiful trifold sleeve with die cut inner sleeves.The two posters and five inserts are included. No obi strip.
All three records have been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter and have come up spotlessly clean & very shiny with a few light scuffs and marks but no feelable damage. Clean labels & spindle holes - graded VG+
Playback ( on our stereo system) was vibrant & dynamic with excellent instrument separation - if you are lucky enough to own a quadraphonic system this would be an incredible listening experience. The recording has really captured the live concert atmosphere. There is some intermittent low background noise in a few places but this does not spoil the music. No jumping or sticking - the vinyl plays as it should.
The trifold sleeve is still strong but with ringwear & wear to edges and corner rubbing. This is a very heavy album with all the vinyl and contents which is just starting to strain the ends of the spine but it is still intact and readable. No writing, stains, splits or tape.
All three records have their original printed inner sleeves.
This is a real thing of beauty with the artwork and posters which complement the incredible music. A rare opportunity.
