Double-album by GRAMMY-winning Latin Fusion band SANTANA, originally released in October 1977 Part-studio, part-live album, MOONFLOWER was largely recorded during the European leg of the band's AMIGOS TOUR in December 1976 USA import, first-ever 180g vinyl pressing of SANTANA's MOONFLOWER Mastered impeccably from the original COLUMBIA RECORDS tapes by JOE REAGOSO and KEVIN GRAY at RTI/ACOUSTECH in Camarillo, CA FRIDAY MUSIC has also included the original stunning gatefold cover elements, which truly accentuate the musical journey created by the legend Carlos Santana and his excellent band [Musicdirect.com] Jeff Dorgay in TONE Audio #38, June 2011: "The LP's surfaces are exceptionally quiet, contributing to increased tonal contrasts and exposing more low-level details that place more emphasis on the keyboard and percussion work. ...
