SANTANA Viva Santana! 1988 Triple LP FUSION JAZZ ROCK 3LP W/ BOOKLET EX
Record grade: EX (all three LPs) Sleeve grade: VG
The records are very clean and sound fantastic. The sleeve has bumps on the corners, particularly the top right corner which is fraying a bit at the spine. There is also a ~1" seam split on the top seam--all three edges of the top seam are affected to varying degrees. Please see pictures. There is also light corner wear and the very beginnings of light ring wear. The label on Side 4 has an odd manufacturing defect where it is split in a few places. The label is very firmly attached to the record and it's difficult to even tell the label is split there if you're simply feeling it with your finger. Comes with a booklet. This is a great set.

I grade LPs based on a conservative interpretation of the Goldmine standard. This means that a VG+ record is in very nice shape and should have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. A record with sustained surface noise will be at best a VG. All records are play-graded since not all surface noise can be detected visually. All records are shipped in new Whiplash mailers with cardboard backing with the sleeved record outside of the jacket to prevent seam splits.

NM/EX: Surfaces essentially look new. This is the highest rating I give used records.
VG+: Very nice shape. May have a few stray very light hairlines and/or light paper scuffs visible under bright light. Will have little to no surface noise barring an occasional moment here and there. No feelable marks.
VG: Has hairlines and/or paper scuffs and has audible surface noise particularly between songs and during quieter passages.
G+: Has more pronounced hairlines and paper scuffs and may have a few small feelable marks, but still no skips.
