Description
Scarce original-press prog rock lp: SATIN WHALE - DESERT PLACES - the original pressing on Brain Records / Metronome, Brain 1049, stereo, with green labels; made in Germany; 5 tracks; released in 1974.
Condition: VG+/EX (the vinyl is glossy and has two moderate scuffs to the B-side - the larger one shows in the photo, the other is about a half-inch long at the beginning of the 2nd track; they look worse than they are - it plays through these areas amazingly well with some very minimal occasional light ticking and no skips; the rest of the record has some minor scuffing and sounds EX+; if you listened to this record without looking at the B-side first you'd think it was NM; one label has a long ink mark, otherwise labels are clean; the jacket is lightweight and has a small ink mark in the top-right corner, minor corner rubbing, a couple of short edge wrinkles and clean spine and edges).
