Description

SATTA-MASSA-GANNA                  by     THE ABBYSINIANS
This is a rare copy of the original 1976 white label Tropical Sound Tracs test-pressing of SATTA-MASSA-GANNA by The Abbysinians. It pre-dates all other issues of the recordings (even Jamaica) and was limited to just a few hundred copies. This was available for just a few months in the UK before being deleted. The album was eventually officially issued in June 1977 on the Klik label where it stayed on the Reggae Album charts for 18 weeks reaching No.3. The LP was also re-released on Different in 1978. This original UK pressing is in superb condition. This is a seminal roots reggae album and a true reggae masterpiece. This version is reknowned for its superior sound quality to future releases and is a full stereo mix.
Happy bidding!
