Year made: 1968

One of the West Coasts 'forgotten' bands. Their album was a competent effort with tracks like Every Little Song and Talking To You containing some promising early psychedelic guitar work. John Palmer wrote (or co-wrote) all but one of the tracks on the album. Its closing cut Expectations features some fine Eastern-influenced electric guitar jamming. The 45 was taken from the album. Recommended by none other than Bevis Frond!

From Richmond, California the band was formed from members of two local outfits Button Willow (Hammon, Lage) and Whatever's Right (Myer, Harper) plus John Palmer. Randy Hammon, cousin of Oxford Circle/Blue Cheer drummer Paul Whaley, had been in the Boys with John Palmer, who'd then moved on to the Plague, Chico punk-legends the Boys Blue (of Coming Down To You fame) and Lincoln's Promise.

The Randy Hammon/Alec Palao produced CD reissue contains the entire album plus three rehearsals:- Thing In E, Tahitian Melody and River Deep, Mountain High - and a comprehensive history of the band.

Compilation appearances include: Fox Is Sick and Thing In 'E' on Electric Food (LP).
