From Richmond, California, the band formed in 1967 from members of various East Bay garage bands. Based in San Francisco, they were one of the youngest, rawest and punkest psych bands to play the Bay Area circuit. Abe Voco Kesh (early producer for Blue Cheer) "discovered" the band and produced an LP and the single on Mercury Records in 1968. Both sides of the single have been comped on Electric Food LP (1968), and Love is the Song We Sing: San Francisco Nuggets 1965-1970 (4-CD Set)
