Description
Time to sell some of my precious LPs. This is the debut Savoy Brown LP Shakedown from 1967. Mono LK 4883. Hopefully the pictures will assist any potential bidder. Basically this is a well played copy. On Red Decca labels. The good points are as follows. Sleeve is clean and not defaced albeit it is wrinkled.Likewise Red Decca labels are good. I have played this twice over on my Hacker vintage player, and it plays without interruption throughout, albeit with a level of hiss and occasional fissle/pop that some may not find acceptable. I can enjoy it but if in doubt I'd suggest waiting for a mint copy. The vinyl surface belies numerous trails - no doubt about that - but like I say, able to be played well. Perhaps a very modern player with more sensitive pickup may not give the same result, but at present no way of verifying this. It apears to be in its original inner as well. On the down side is the worn condition, but I do feel I'm being very up front, and i have seen - and sometimes purchased on ebay - items wildly misdecribed as 'VG' etc. I think this very rare album should prove a welcome addition to any serious collection. Postage in the UK is 4.50 recorded. Overseas must be by recorded /registered method, and is 13.00 GBP. I will not post to Australia/New Zealand, South America or Italy. Sorry. Any sensible queries please ask.
