Description
SAVOY BROWN Blue Matter LP (Decca [UK] SKL.4994) 1969.
Jacket EX due to wear to back cover only. Vinyl NM (our highest grade for an opened record). From a large single-owner collection (see our other auctions for more from the same collection). The previous owner made a habit of taping his LPs as he bought them and only playing the tapes to preserve the condition of his vinyl. So, most of the records we are listing from this collection are either Excellent or Near Mint even in cases where the jackets are not. We regret that he didn’t store his records in outer sleeves and that he added his name to many of the records which has led to some wear and lower grades to jackets of otherwise NM records. Better than the other way around though! See each record description for condition specifics. Original 1969 U.K. Decca 1st pressing STEREO. The backcover has an "indicator hole" that lets the inner sleeve peep through to determine if it is a mono (red inner) or stereo (blue inner) release. This copy is missing the colored original inner, it has a replaced inner sleeve. Vinyl is NM. It does not appear to have been played much at all.price rating
