Description

SAVOY BROWN "Blue Matter" Original US pressing LP (PARROT PAS 71027) with gatefold sleeve. The US sleeve has a slightly different sleeve artwork than the UK version and comes in very impressive gatefold sleeve. The third album from the pioneering UK blues band featuring KIM SIMMONDS (who remained the only constant member of the band and still keeps the flame alive to this day). This was also the second album from the classic lineup of KIM SIMMONDS, CHRIS YOULDIN, LONESOME DAVE PEVERETT, RIVERS JIBE (replace half way by TONE STEVENS), ROGER EARLE and BOB HALL. Featuring both studio and live tracks. Lonesome Dave Peverett (later in FOGHAT) handles the lead vocals on live tracks due to Chris Youldin being ill at the time. Includes: Train to nowhere, Tolling bells, etc. Highly collectible item for all British Blues collectors. Sleeve is Near Mint. Record is Near Mint.
