LABEL: DECCA

LABEL no.: LK 4994

COVER: VG. Laminated "clarifoil" cover printed in England by Moore & Matthes, Ltd.  Has some edge and ringwear, tiny tear at opening and a bit of back edge discolor.

VINYL: VG.  Shiny with a couple of light scuffs.

LABEL CONDITION: red Decca ffrr labels are clean with some spindle marks.

COMMENTS: UK original album. FIRST PRESSING with 1A stampers!!  Pretty RARE in MONO, the timeless blues monster from Savoy Brown featuring the absolute amazing guitar work of  Kim Simmonds!!!   This was their 3rd UK album and includes one of finest guitar solos on vinyl, Louisiana Blues!!!  This great line-up included Chris Youlden on vocals and Lonesome Dave on rhythm guitar.

This is my 15th year of successfully selling records on eBay!!  I take extreme care in buying and selling ONLY vinyl that is NEAR MINT, or very close to it.  My goal is to keep the dream alive for the art of collecting and selling PROMOTIONAL albums, from the 60's and 70's in jazz and rock n' roll.  PROMO albums are usually 1st pressings, they get released prior to the stock copies, and are generally as close to the master tape as the listener can obtain. They are pressed in extremely limited quantities, many get trashed by radio stations, but collecting them in top quality has been my specialty for many years. I also sell some hard to find ORIGINAL stock US, UK and Canadian pressings LP's.  AND AS ALWAYS...ALL records are from MY OWN PERSONAL collection of over 50 years and....NO JUNK!!! 

ALL my vinyl is visually graded and then PLAY graded on a REGA P3 turntable, through a McINTOSH MA6300 Integrated Amplifier which pushes (4) original JBL Century 100 speakers!!!

 

I clean all my records with a PROFESSIONAL Nitty Gritty record cleaning machine and pack ALL records carefully!!   FIRST, the records are cleaned, then placed in the inner sleeve outside of the record cover and inserted into a clear plastic outer record sleeve. SECOND, albums are bubble wrapped for safety and mailed in a STRONG cardboard record mailer box!!
