Description
SAX 2276/7(2 LPs)/ Beethoven Symphony N° 9. Aase Nordmo Lovberg, Christa Ludwig, Waldemar Kmentt etc. The Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Otto Klemperer.
This is a two record set of the rare 1958 stereo recording of the Beethoven Symphony No 9 (Choral) in its Columbia 1st UK pressing with the original turquoise and silver labels.
Matrix: record 1, side 1: YAX 69-15, side 2: YAX 70-8, record 2, side 1: YAX 71-11, side 2: YAX 72-5.
Records The vinyl is in (near) mint condition as clean and bright as the day it was pressed nearly 50 years ago. Graded Near Mint., but in fact MINT! No spindlemarks, and I suppose these records weren't played at all. They come with their original inner sleeves, which they, in my opinion, did not leave before I took them out of the sleeves. Really unbeatable copies!
Sleeves The sleeves are in excellent condition with no splits. There is some laminate-loss at the right end, as can be seen on the photo's. The original Stereophonic EMI Recording-stickers are present on both sleeves.

This record is from a beautiful collection which I obtained from the family of someone who had passed away. The record was stored in a cabinet since he bought him, and has played one or two times, very carefully, on a high tech record player.It is rare to find records in this great condition.
