SAX 2322 Dvorak: New World Symphony/PO/Swallisch/NM/EX+

All records in my ebay shop listed as 'Buy it now' have been fully play tested and carefully listened to. I do not understand how records can be properly graded by visual inspection only. Some mint looking records can sound awful and some marked records sound perfect. My prices may sometimes seen a little high but please remember I can only list a few records a week and you will receive what was described and no nasty surprises! SAX 2322 Dvorak: New World Symphony & 'Carnival' Overture / Philharmonic Orchestra / Wolfgang Swallisch

The record is in lovely condition with a great shine and no surface marks when checked under a halogen lamp. The labels are nice and clean with minimal spindle marks.  The soft sleeve is in excellent plus condition with no wear to the edges but a tiny bit of wear to the corners. There is a very small split to the laminate only on the bottom spine pinch. The are a couple of very small light creases to the edges but please remember this is a very soft sleeve and normally suffers badly from creases and tears. The rear of the sleeve is nice and clean with a stuck on gold 'SAX 2322' label. The discolouration that shows on the opening edge on the rear of the sleeve is actually not there at all, it is a shadow. The original inner sleeve is in excellent condition.

The record sounds wonderful throughout. This is a great recording of the 'New World Symphony' with wonderful control by the orchestra. With many very quiet passages it is important the vinyl is in good condition. In places the recording is so quiet that there is inevitably some very faint background but as the record is 58 years old that is hardly suprising! Definitely no clicks or ticks or anything else apart from the odd inevitable dust pop as to be expected on any record and of course the occasional very faint background.

Grading:
Mint means factory sealed and therefore unplayed
Near mint means there are no visible marks on the record and if there are no spindle marks on the labels either that will be stated. The record will have been fully played and the sound quality described.
Excellent means there are one or visible marks that will be explained and the sound quality  described.
Sleeves are carefully described and photographed.

Please note: A box set with 3 LPs will generally have the same shipping price as 4 LPs and a 4 LP box set the same as 5 LPs, etc. Sometimes if the box has a heavy libretto for example this will not apply. Sometimes 7 LPs is too heavy for 1 parcel and therefore I will have to split into 2 parcels and sometimes the records weigh less and I can reduce the cost. I always weigh the complete order and packing before sending an invoice. If I can save you money I will.
