Description

As follows:
SAX 2347 to 2348 (2 x LP set).
Klemperer Conducts Wagner.
Otto Klemperer.
2 x Stereo LP Set.
One LP (SAX 2347) on Blue Silver label.
One LP (SAX 2348) on Red Semi label.
Made In Great Britain.
Condition Vinyl: All between EX/VG+/EX+ EX+
SAX 2347 has some scuffs and a few hairlines. mostly visible on Side Two.
The LP has been sample played and the quality is excellent, albeit with some crackle, mainly at the beginning of the quieter passages; and the beginning of each side, there are a few audible pops and ticks.
A sequence of pops at beginning of Side One Band Two for about 15 seconds.
Side Two of SAX 2347 commences with some light crackle, followed by a sequence of light ticks, followed by a similar burst of ticks, about three minutes into the band. The rest of the band plays with no issues.
Side Two Band Two plays with no issues and minimal crackle.
A professional clean may benefit the sound quality.
SAX 2348 has no issues, sounds great; and is nice and clean.
Condition Sleeves: FAIR
Sleeves are in Fair condition, they have repaired lower seam splits, and are badly creased and some discolouring / foxing.
Also the backs are very worn and discoloured.
