Description

This is another sale from my collection of classical records, which includes early stereo rarities on Decca, Columbia, HMV and RCA.

Recording first published 1961 of Uk Columbia SAX 2387 blue/silver Brahms Piano Concerto No. 1 in D Minor played by Claudio Arrau with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Carlo Maria Giulini. Sleeve is in excellent condition (with "s" arrows to the spine), minor wear on the opening and the non-laminated part of the back cover is slightly discoloured with age. Small amount of laminate has lifted on top flip back. Inner sleeve is in nice condition. Would visually grade record VG. It plays on my Linn Sondek  with no skips or jumps, some crackles and occasional pop in places. Side 2 has one place with a repeating tick for a short time.

Note that record will be posted in a cardboard record mailer. Sleeve will be in a plastic sleeve, separate from the record and inner sleeve. Record and inner sleeve will be in a card sleeve.
