BRAHMS - A German Requiem (op 45)

AN ABSOLTULEY SUPERB SET - POSSIBLY UNPLAYED (except for by me for grading purposes) - These 2 LPs have a couple of extremely light sleeve removal marks with no effect on playback and are an absolute delight to listen to. There is no background noise whatsoever.

The Sleeves are also in fantastic condition with just a little very light rubbing to the top corners - AS CLOSE TO MINT AS YOU WILL FIND (unless you are prepared to wait a very long time!!)!! These are amongst the best condition Columbia LPs that I have ever offered for sale anywhere!!

VINYL CONDITION : Near Mint - SUPERB - possibly played only once!! .

INSERT CONDITION : Original poly-lined company inners - Near Mint .

SLEEVE CONDITION : Near Mint - just a little light rubbing of corners .

NOTES ABOUT ITEM DESCRIPTIONS :

All vinyl is VISUALLY graded under a good strong light. I just do not have the time to listen to all the LPs I list all the way through. I check the lead-in of each record and any suspicious looking marks! I am always happy to give a record a more thorough listening on request. All photographs are of the actual item for sale and are taken at the time of listing.

I use the RECORD COLLECTOR grading system as outlined below. Do not look for MINT records in my shop - I don't believe they exist. I have handled many tens of thousands of records over the years and have seen just a handful that I MIGHT describe as mint!!

MINT : The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT : The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD : The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without and major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD : The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discolouration etc.

PACKAGING

Items are removed from their outer sleeves and wrapped in plenty of bubble wrap. They are then securely packaged in a double walled cardboard box to ensure that the package is durable and watertight. The package is clearly marked as fragile.

RETURNS

I will always offer a full refund (including postage) if you are unhappy with with your purchase for any reason. However I do not offer an immediate refund for non-receipt of items. I will assist in any way possible to obtain compensation from the Royal Mail or any other carrier. Royal Mail items are covered for up to £34.00. If you require any further insurance please ask and I will arrange it.
