SAX 2473 2474 Mahler Symphony No.2

I am now selling the very last of my father's classical collection and offer for auction:

SAX 2473  and 2474, Gustav Mahler Symphony No.2 in C minor "Resurrection". Otto Klemperer conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra. Hilde Rossl-Majdan, Elizabeth Schwarzkopf, The Philharmonia Choir

Vinyl on both LPs is in beautiful, near mint pristine condition. Original inner sleeves.

Both records have been stored in a box and remained unplayed for over 30 years.  As you can see a cover has been cut and attached to the front. The cover backs have been taped together and kept inside the box. I realise this is sacrilege and have chosen a starting price to reflect this. Interestingly, the box originally came from a Decca recording of Pagliacci and the back still has the photograph on it.
