Description
Columbia SAX 2514 blue/silver first U.K. pressing of Schubert's Symphonies Nos. 5 & 8 with Otto Klemperer conducting The Philharmonia Orchestra. Vinyl remains in excellent visual appearance retaining a lovely sheen barring a couple of light marks and one very slight scuff on side 2. The vinyl plays back with just an occasional click in places and a little static background noise in places. Labels remain in excellent condition, the record retains its original poly-lined inner. The outer sleeve retains a nice spine with all writing clearing readable, there is a little grime evident along the edge of the flip back on the rear sleeve and a little edge and corner wear evident as one would expect. This wear is worst on its bottom right hand opening edge (see photo no 7 above).
