FROM 1976 ON THE OBSCURE EARTH LABEL, BLUESY, FUZZ GUITAR, STRONG VOCALS OF BARBARA PENNINGTON

Tempest - self-titled album in stereo on Earth 0378. Only album I know of on the label. Recorded at Wells Sound Studio in Houston. Band consisted of Barbara Pennington on lead vocals and percussion; Fred Drake on drums and percussion; Jeff Wells on lead guitar, vocals, acoustic guitar and piano; and Nick Harris on bass and vocals. 12 songs, some long, about 45 minutes of great music. First and only time I've had this album. Worthy addition to your collection. Includes promo 8x10 glossy for the band .

NOTE: There are numerous bands named Tempest listed in All Music Guide. This is an obscure local Texas band who recorded this album in their own studio and is none of those listed in the Guide.
